The RelaxUltima Neck Massager is very singular in purpose...to allow you to self-massage your neck to relax and release tension.
The unit uses a combination of heat (up to 107 degrees) and electrical stimulation (TENS technology) to support muscle relaxation to relieve pain and tension in the neck.

How the RelaxUltima Neck Massager Works
The neck massager works by placing two electrodes on the back of your neck, right on top of the two major muscles that run up to the back of your head.
The unit operates with a small remote. It has separate buttons for the heat function, for the mode of massage (chose between Tapping, Shiatsu, and Acupunture Therapy) and two buttons to control the intensity level. It's very easy to operate.
Before use, put a little moisture on the back of your neck so the electrodes make better contact on your skin, then put it on your neck.
There's a small power button to turn the unit on and off. It sits very comfortably on the neck.
Use the unit for no more than 15 minutes at a time.
In terms of battery life, you can expect to have the unit run just fine for upwards of 2 weeks straight before recharging, even with daily use. It plugs right into a USB port on your computer, or you can use your phone charger USB adapter and plug it into a wall outlet.
It's super simple and easy to work with.
Is the RelaxUltima Neck Massager Effective?
That's the key thing...and yes, it definitely is!
I've used it after workouts (like heavy squats and deadlifts) to help relax my neck. I've used it after falling asleep on the sofa in a weird position and woken up with a kink in my neck.
It works really well in every case I've tested it.
I personally rarely get headaches, so I can't test it in response to tension headaches, but I could see it being very effective for those as well as it definitely does relax the muscles of the neck.
Are There Any Negatives to the RelaxUltima Neck Massager?
There are a few but they're definitely minor and nothing that should stop you from getting one of these, if you decide you wanted to give it a try.
The electrodes are designed solely to work on the muscles in back of your neck. If you carry tension on the sides of your neck, it won't be effective for that. I did test rotating the unit 90 degrees and using but that didn't work well...and since it's not what it was designed for, that's fine. I just like to mess around with things to see how they work in other ways.
When changing between modes, the unit defaults back to the lowest intensity setting, which means you'll have to kick it up a few levels before you figure out what mode you're in. I also found that when I first started the unit up, it did take about 10-15 seconds before I felt the massaging starting.
These things are both VERY minor considerations.
One thing I also tested was cranking the intensity up to the maximum level. And, being honest, you probably won't have a need to go that high.
The intensity can increase up the point where the muscles are being so strongly stimulated that your head starts bobbing up and down (I demonstrated this in the video).
Conclusion
Bottom line, I really the RelaxUltima Neck Massager. It definitely works and any downsides that I found were very minor and didn't have anything to do with the quality of the device or its effectiveness.
If you're looking for something to help relax your neck, this is something I would definitely recommed for you.
